Countdown Begins to the Inaugural RTX Scotland!

THE TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS INDUSTRY IS GEARING UP FOR THE FIRST-EVER RTX SCOTLAND, TAKING PLACE ON 19-20TH NOVEMBER AT THE SEC GLASGOW.

RTX Scotland

With more than 65 exhibitors confirmed and a packed two-day Knowledge Zone conference programme, this free-to-attend event is set to be a must-visit for anyone involved in the road transport sector.

RTX Scotland will bring the successful ‘All about the truck’ ethos of its sister show, Road Transport Expo – held each summer at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire – north of the border for the first time.

It will showcase the latest innovations, products and services aimed at HGV fleet professionals, all under one roof. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with leading suppliers, discover cutting-edge technologies and gain insight from industry experts.

The exhibition floor will feature a wide range of companies, including major truck OEMs, bodybuilders, trailer specialists, tyre manufacturers, technology designers, fleet compliance experts, workshop designers and infrastructure providers.

RTX Scotland’s Knowledge Zone will host a dynamic line-up of speakers and sessions covering key topics such as decarbonisation, vehicle and driver safety, fleet compliance and future HGV technology.

Scottish Transport Secretary Fiona Hyslop MSP will officially open the programme on day one, setting the tone for Scotland’s transport ambitions. On day two, attendees will hear from Transport Scotland and Acting Scottish Traffic Commissioner Richard Turfitt, offering vital updates and perspectives on regulatory developments and strategic planning.

Vic Bunby, RTX Scotland show director, said: “This brand-new event is a fantastic opportunity for HGV operators to come together, share ideas and see what’s new in the industry – all in one central location. It’s also a great space to network informally – whether over coffee or at a stand – creating the kind of face-to-face conversations that often lead to long-term business relationships.”
