Parksafe Launch Human Form Recognition Safety System
PARKSAFE GROUP WILL OFFICIALLY LAUNCH ITS INNOVATIVE HUMAN FORM RECOGNITION (HFR) SAFETY SYSTEM AT PLANTWORX 2025.
The system is part of the company’s new Zone AI brand – which is dedicated to advanced AI safety technologies.
Developed specifically for the off-highway, construction and quarrying industries, this advanced AI- Detection System is designed to identify human forms in close proximity to machinery, providing instant alerts to operators. By recognising both moving and stationary human forms, the system significantly enhances operator awareness, helping to reduce the risk of injury and vehicle damage.
Parksafe Group’s HFR system can be installed with a single camera on smaller vehicles or configured with a multi-camera 360° set-up on larger plant. An in-cab monitor and/or Pedestrian LED display marks out the detection zones, clearly showing a person’s location and proximity to the vehicle. This helps operators make quicker safer decisions, especially in busy and confined areas. Additional safety features include a selection of audible alarms and an LED ‘Thumbs-Up’ Sign that can be activated when the vehicle is at a safe stop, reassuring workers that it is safe to approach.
Alongside that, this solution goes above and beyond with a bespoke plug and play loom that reduces downtime, provides consistent installation and ensures the solution is fully functional.
Fully compliant with the latest industry safety standards and regulations including the Balfour Beatty specification, Parksafe’s HFR system supports businesses in enhancing on-site safety and protecting workers in high-risk environments.
The system is also fully integrated with Parksafe Group’s On Demand platform, designed to give owners, operators and managers complete visibility and control over their vehicles both in real-time and historically. Triggered events are recorded and automatically uploaded to a dedicated Event’s Locker, helping operators stay informed and proactive.
“Safety is at the heart of everything we do,” said Liam Barber, Sales & Marketing Director at Parksafe Group. “We have been working with AI detection cameras for over five years now, for on road vehicles. Refining and perfecting the algorithms in environments with high pedestrian activity. This expertise provides a strong foundation for transitioning into the off-highways sector, where reliable human detection is crucial to improving safety. With the launch of our Human Form Recognition system, we are equipping operators and site managers with intelligent solutions to create safer, smarter, and more efficient worksites.”
The new system will be officially showcased at Plantworx 2025, the UK’s largest working construction equipment exhibition, where visitors can experience live demonstrations and speak with Parksafe Group’s team of experts.
